Wish Poosh Campground

Wish Poosh Campground is a scenic, family-friendly campsite situated on the southeastern shore of Cle Elum Lake in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, Washington. • Directions: From Cle Elum, WA, travel 10 miles northwest on Highway 903. The campground entrance will be on the left.

• Campsites: 34 sites suitable for tents and RVs

• Amenities:

  • Picnic tables

  • Campfire rings with grills

  • Vault toilets

  • Trash collection

  • Firewood available for sale at $10/bundle

• Water & Restrooms: Potable water and flush toilets are out of order for the 2024 season; portable toilets are provided.

• Season: Typically open from Memorial Day to mid-September

Fire Restrictions (as of July 2, 2025)

A Stage Two Fire Ban is in effect across all USFS campgrounds in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, including Wish Poosh. This ban prohibits campfires and open flame cooking with wood, charcoal, or wood pellets. The exception is that propane gas can be used as long as it has an on/off switch. No smoking is allowed in the open; smoking must be done either in your vehicle or within a building. Fireworks are also prohibited.
