📖 About This Campground

North Fork Campground in Olympic National Park offers 9 tent and RV campsites (RVs not officially recommended) in a remote area. Accessed via a rough and dirty/ dusty gravel road the campground is not free to stay but probably should be (bonus it is free during the winter). Officially listed as having pit toilets the pit toilets seem to be disguised as porta-potties (probably in attempt to confuse the flies). There is no water or services of any kind in this location. A very pretty place to camp the temperate rainforest, tall trees and thick brush combine to provide excellent privacy. Sites have picnic tables and fire rings. All are available on a first come first served basis. Multiple hiking trails depart this area into the back country. Located in the "Quinault Area" of the park.
