📖 About This Campground
Graves Creek Campground in Olympic National Park offers 30 tent and small RV (RVs see note below) sites on the rain forest side of the park. Depending upon season and road conditions this campground is subject to closure or hike-in only status.
NOTE: As of 2016/ 2017 the campground is NOT accessible by vehicles; it is hike-in/ bike-in only. Campers must park along the road about 1 mile from the campground.
The campground is rapidly being reclaimed by nature. Sites are quickly being overgrown. The restrooms are closed, no water is available and no service is provided; pack out what you pack in. Near the banks of the Quinault River the campground is situated in a forested setting.
Amazingly the NPS still charges a fee to camp here when clearly there is no plan to re-open the road or maintain the campground. Being said this is an excellent way for novices to become familiar with back country camping.
