Finner Creek Campground

Finner Creek Campground is a small, rustic campground nestled in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest near Leavenworth, Washington. Located approximately 17 miles from Lake Wenatchee, it offers a tranquil setting along Finner Creek, close to the Chiwawa River.

• Address: 13187 Chiwawa River USFS 6200 Rd, Leavenworth, WA 98826

• GPS Coordinates: 47.9514° N, 120.7689° W

• Directions: From Leavenworth, travel west on US-2 to Coles Corner. Turn right onto WA-207 for 4 miles, then right onto Chiwawa Loop Road. Follow signs for Chiwawa River Road and take it 15 miles to the campground.

• Campsites: Approximately 3 first-come, first-served sites.

• Amenities:

  • Vault toilets

  • Picnic tables

  • Potable water

• Vehicle Length Limit: Trailers up to 30 feet.

• Season: Typically open from May through September.

• Fees:

  • $22 per night for a single site

  • $11 per night for an additional vehicle

  • 50% discount for holders of Interagency Senior or Access Passes on single campsites only.

🔥 Fire Restrictions

As of July 2, 2025, a Stage Two Fire Ban is in effect across all USFS campgrounds in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, including Finner Creek. This ban prohibits campfires and open flame cooking with wood, charcoal, or wood pellets. The exception is that propane gas can be used as long as it has an on/off switch. No smoking is allowed in the open; smoking must be done either in your vehicle or within a building. Fireworks are also prohibited.
