Central States Fairgrounds Campground

Central States Fairgrounds Campground in Rapid City South Dakota provides partial hookup RV camping in an open setting on the fairgrounds property. The campground is bordered on one side by a busy City Road that has lots of traffic most of the day. The RV sites are long and can handle most any size RV but the area is not maintained well with weeds growing and nothing very scenic about the location. Central States Fairgrounds Campground is best utilized by folks who need to be here for an event at the fairgrounds. This is not an advisable location if you're looking for a vacation spot.The RV area is gated but the entrance remains open during normal business hours. The fairgrounds are bordered by commercial properties. The camping area is set on packed dirt with naturally irrigated plants in between sites.
