Cartier Park Campground

Cartier Park Campground in Ludington Michigan offers full hookup RV and tent camping in a city owned park. An easy to access park with paved roads and  amix of gravel, dirt and grass sites. Tucked just off the highway and next to the cemetery (they call the sites closest "primitive") and a lake the park has a mix of seasonal and short term sites. The campground is pretty with some sites, notably the rear-most small RV/ tent sites set in a state park feel area. A large playground area is available and the campground is a short distance from the bustling main street of Ludington. In addition a small boat launch is available just next to the park. Restrooms with showers are available as is a small office. Cyclists can ride from here down into the state park and back. It is a short walk back down to main street and the city beaches (although a bit too far to walk with small kids). Pull thru and backin options. Sites have picnic tables and fire rings.
