📖 About This Campground
Big Creek Campground near Hoodsport Washington is a US Forest Service Campground (Olympic National Forest) offering primitive tent and RV camping in a heavily wooded setting. Accessed via paved roads the secluded campground is adjacent to the namesake creek and was recently upgraded to make it easier to access for larger RVs. the campground roads and pads are packed gravel with excellent spacing and good privacy. Water spigots are located throughout the campground. In addition vault toilets are available.
A day use parking area is located near the entrance and from there a number of great hiking trails depart. Close to Lake Cushman this popular destination is a great forest service campground and a real example of how public agencies are starting to bring their campgrounds up to meet modern demands.
Open seasonally the campground offers picnic tables and fire rings at each site. All are available on a first come first served basis.
