📖 About This Campground
Hamma Hamma Campground in Lilliwaup Washington is a US Forest Service Campground (Olympic National Forest) offering primitive tent and RV camping in a heavily wooded setting. Accessed via paved roads the secluded campground is in an area that was originally setup by the CCC back in the 30's. Paved roads with gravel/ dirt parking pads this lovely campground offers camping under the canopy of forest of large trees. Trails depart this area and vehicles can explore miles of forest service roads. Picnic tables, fire rings and vault toilets are available.
Located 6 miles from US 101 on Hamma Hamma Road. 2 miles further up road is Lena Creek Campground and Lena Lake Trail.
Within the campground is the start to The Living Legacy Interpretive trail. A 1.5 mile loop. The first 1/4 mile is accessible and travels along the Hamma Hamma River.
Sites are first come first served. 21' max RV trailer size due to tight roads (but the sites are relatively large).
