About Two Medicine Campground
Two Medicine Campground located in Glacier National Park offers primitive (no water, electric, or sewer) hookup RV and tent camping close to the namesake lake. A less crowded location this campground is off-the-beaten-path for most people visiting Glacier National Park but offers amazing vistas, breath taking waterfalls, extensive hiking trails, boating and great camping. The large campground has multiple loops and sites to accommodate anyone from large RVs to tent campers. The biggest problem with this campground is the fact that reservations can not be made in advance = you may be stuck with a site you don't want. Some sites are tucked into the forest while others are out in the open. Campers with RVs 30' or less will not have a problem fitting in the majority of sites; RVers with larger RVs will need to be a bit more selective. Multiple trails depart the area and it is only a short walk to a very picturesque lake. This area of the park is sacred to native peoples and they still use it for ceremonial events. Paved roads with gravel/ dirt sites each site has a picnic table and fire rings. Bear boxes are located throughout and must be used. This campground like the remainder inside the park are located in grizzly country; do be aware of how you store scented items. There are water spigots dispersed around the loops and restrooms with wash basins conveniently located around the campground also. Two Medicine Campground is located in a remote area so come prepared with your necessary supplies and fuel. A dump station is located along the main entrance/ exit road. Officially the NPS has a set max size of 35'. Generator use is permitted in designated loops at designated times. See the park in standard format
