📖 About This Campground
Stony Creek Campground near Three Rivers California is a US Forest Service campground offering 50 primitive tent and RV camping sites in a well kept campground located between the main areas of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Advanced reservations are allowed, and encouraged, at this very popular destination. An example of a public agency getting it right this campground is actually one of the better places to camp if you are looking to explore the area and the National Park.
Paved roads and site pads tents and larger RVs can be accommodated here. The campground has an onsite camp host. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring and bear box. Restrooms with running water and water spigots are located throughout the campground. Operated by concessionaire Stony Creek Campground is a great choice in the area. Public phone, public showers, groceries, restaurant, and gasoline are available 1/2 mile away at the Stony Creek Resort.
A less expensive camping option is located immediately across the highway if you don't mind driving on dirt roads instead of pavement; Upper Stony Creek Campground.
