Owner went out of his way to accommodate us. Easy access sites on mowed grass. Verizon 4G was solid. We have family in the area and this is our go-to spot. The OHV area is great for mountain biking too!

This park is under new ownership which makes for a huge improvement in quality. We had reservations through the previous owner and as it turned out he did not even have sites to accommodate us. The new owner immediately brought in an electrician and plumber to get the site up to spec with 50 amp and sewer. Sites are mowed grass in an open setting. Appleton is a rural farm-town making for a peaceful stay. We were here to visit family and really enjoyed ourselves. The park is not a resort instead it is a nice place to park with full hookups. From what I was told hunting is popular in this area along with fishing in the river and nearby lakes. We will return in the future and enjoyed our stay.
