📖 About This Campground

Rock Island Campground is a scenic, riverside campsite located in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, approximately 17 miles up Icicle Creek Road from Leavenworth, Washington. Situated at an elevation of 2,800 feet, this campground offers a peaceful retreat with easy access to Icicle Creek and nearby hiking trails.

  • Campsites: 22 sites (20 single sites and 2 double sites)

  • Amenities:

    • Vault toilets

    • Potable water

    • Picnic tables

    • Fire rings

  • Fees:

    • Single Site: $24/night

    • Double Site: $44/night

    • Additional Vehicle: $11/night

    • 50% discount for holders of Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age, or Golden Access passes

  • Reservations: First-come, first-served; visitors must arrive in person to claim a site

  • Season: Typically open from May through September

  • Vehicle Length Limit: 22 feet

  • Pets: Allowed on a leash

  • Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
