This place is okay. They clearly have long term guests in here but they all seem fine. The camphost that checked us in was not the nicest. Pull thru site was plenty long and with no one in the site next to us we had plenty of room out front. The site was level. paid $40 for the night. Verizon 4G was very good for phone and data. If you ride bicycles look up Low Gap Road. It is the first stop light to the south, make a right and enjoy an excellent out and back bike ride. Also we used the city pool for $5 per person and enjoyed a refreshing dip. Ukiah is a great example of what liberal ideas can do to destroy a community. the entire city is run down with roads that were probably last paved 30 years ago. Their #1 crop, pot, is now legal which has collapsed the resale price and hurt the economy in the area. None of that matters if you are simply looking for a nice place to park for a night or 2 while travelling US 101. We would stay again.

📖 About This Campground
Redwood Empire Fair RV Park in Ukiah California provides RV camping at the fairgrounds. Full hookup pull thru and backin sites capable of accommodating large RVs. Strict rules on length of stay keep the place from getting run down. Advanced reservation can be made for backin sites while the pull thrus are on a first come first served basis.
Access to the RV park is via the main entrance drive, past the paved parking area and out into a gravel drive. The RV sites are either on packed gravel (backins) or on mowed grass with gravel parking pads for the pull thrus. The sites have decent spacing but not tons of room. Two camphosts live on site to help out.
Rates are $40 per night with discounts for Good Sam and Escapees available.
