Olallie Lake Campground is a serene, high-elevation camping destination nestled in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest near Packwood, Washington. Situated at 4,242 feet, this rustic campground offers breathtaking views of Mount Adams and provides access to nearby hiking trails and non-motorized boating opportunities.

  • Campsites: 5 small sites and one larger area suitable for RVs.

  • Amenities:

    • Picnic tables

    • Fire rings

    • Vault toilets

    • No potable water (bring your own)

  • Season: July through September

  • Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM

  • Vehicle Length Limit: 22 feet

  • Fees:

    • Single Site: $20 per night

    • Double Site: $36 per night

    • Extra Vehicle: $8 per vehicle per night

  • Reservations: First-come, first-served

  • Pets: Dogs must be on a leash

  • Alerts: Adams Fork Bridge Closed (FR 5601)

  • Fishing: Rainbow trout and brook trout are stocked in Olallie Lake.

  • Boating: Non-motorized boats and electric motors only.

  • Hiking: Access to High Lakes Trail #116 and East Canyon Trail #265, both open to motorcycle use.

  • Photography: Stunning views of Mount Adams and surrounding wilderness.
