Really wanted to love this place but at $40 per night we just couldn't. Great lake, full hookup sites, and a close by Verizon tower all add up to what we want but in the end $40 for a state park is ridiculous. No wonder the sites were all sitting empty. Come on California!

📖 About This Campground
Millerton Lake State Recreation Area in Friant California offers 47 miles of shoreline for water sports including swimming, fishing, and boating. During winter, the park has special boat tours to view the bald eagles. The park also has boat camping. Full, partial, and primitive (no water, electric, or sewer) hookup RV and tent camping sites.
