As a member of Escapees this place is a deal. Up in the foothills of the Sierras it is still a ways into Yosemite. The sites are okay very large but gravel. Roads are paved. Lot of tight turns for big rigs so take your time. A very pretty area and well worth the $15 per night.

Park of the Sierras - Escapees Park in Coarsegold California. Visitors must be an Escapees member, or the guest of a park member, in order to camp at Park of the Sierras. The park has 254 full-hookup sites and 20 dry camping. The park utilities are all buried, including phone and cable TV.
