Lanier Islands Campgrounds and RV Park in provides full, partial and primitive hookup RV and tent camping on small islands surrounded by Lake Lanier. The destination resort recently received investment by Jimmy Buffet and will be adding to the camp facilities while adding a full service RV resort. Shoal Creek is just outside the gates of Lanier Islands on Shadburn Ferry Road, just off Buford Dam Road. Campers will love the large wooded sites with tables, fire rings and grills. They are all suitable for RVs or tents. There are primitive lakeside campsites, in addition to those with handy access to electricity and the views from the walking trails are spectacular. Shoal Creek Campground features: Boat ramps, campsites with and without hookups, showers, dump station, restrooms, laundry, picnic tables, picnic pavilion and a swim area.
