Kamp Across From the Dunes Campground

Kamp Across From the Dunes Campground in Sawyer Michigan offers full hookup RV camping across the road from the state park. A well kept and nicely manicured location the park has paved roads with gravel parking pads. Almost exclusively seasonal sites there may be one or two sites available for short term guests but calling ahead and reserving is strongly encouraged. The park is directly across the street from the entrance to Warren Dunes allowing guests to walk or ride into the park to explore the trails and visit the beach (about 1 mile away). Kamp Across From the Dunes Campground has a scenic small pond that is a centerpiece for a number of sites that back up to or face out on the water. Restrooms with showers are available as is a small playground and dump station. Many of the seasonal guests have made their sites "theirs" with wood decks and fancy tables/ chairs; the park does not have a run down feel with these improvements. Adjacent to and accessed via a secret walkway is a small cafe popular for ice cream and other summer treats.
