The park was able to fit us in to a site last minute on July 4th weekend. The site we were assigned was an incredibly narrow pull thru with a small cement patio, ancient picnic table (actually had to repair it!), and small grass area. The site was plenty long and once the neighbors left a few days later did not feel super claustrophobic. There are wider sites in the park namely some of their backin premium sites. The office staff was always friendly and nice and we enjoyed the free dvd library for some entertainment. Very easy to get to off the interstate there are several fuel options a block away. We paid $48 per night which was overpriced for the level of amenities. More appropriate price would be in the $40 range BUT they did fill up most nights so maybe they know something I do not. Verizon 4G was solid; next time in the area we will look for somewhere else to stay.

Interstate RV Park & Campground in Davenport Iowa provides full hookup RV and tent camping with large pull thrus convenient to I-80 exit 292. Set between commercial buildings (tire shop, fuel stations and Farm and Fleet Store) and agricultural fields the park is far enough off the Interstate to not be overwhelmed by noise but convenient enough to have the name it does. Interior roads are packed gravel along with the sites that are the same. Pull thru and backin options are offered with varying degrees of separation dependent upon the rate you choose to pay. The park maintains a large block of sites available for overnight guests and can accommodate RVs with vehicles in tow (without you unhooking). Interior roads are a little narrow so caution is required when driving within the park.
Well kept the park has a nice grassy area near the pool and playground along with grassy areas on the borders. A small store/ office has basic supplies but more importantly has a large collection of recent releases on DVD available for free "rental" by guests. Guests are 15 minutes from downtown Davenport and close to shopping and fuel. Rates at the park are a bit steep with nightly rates starting in the mid $40 per night range. Longer term guests get significant discounts.
