📖 About This Campground
Indian River Campground near Manistique Michigan is a US Forest Service Campground (Hiawatha National Forest) providing primitive tent and small RV camping in a small campground near the namesake river. Access for canoeing is available here. Tucked just off M94 the campground is accessed via a paved one way loop road and set under a canopy of large trees. All the sites are backins set on dirt with picnic tables and fire rings. A nominal fee is paid to the iron ranger. A hand pump for water and vault toilet restroom are also available.
5 large, wooded, private sites in quiet surroundings. This campground is excellent for the traveler because of its close proximity to M-94, and yet it is still able to retain a secluded, quiet atmosphere. Drinking water is available, as well as toilets.
All sites are on a first come first served basis.
