Hickory Creek Campground

Hickory Creek Campground, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is located on the shores of Lewisville Lake near Dallas, Texas. This popular destination offers a variety of recreational activities and amenities for campers and day visitors alike. Amenities:

• Campsites: 121 sites equipped with water and electric hookups, picnic tables, grills, and fire rings.
• Restrooms: Facilities with showers are available for campers.
• Boat Ramp: A boat ramp is accessible exclusively for campers, providing easy entry to Lewisville Lake.
• Dump Station: Available for proper disposal of waste.
• Recreation: Shoreline access for fishing and a walking/biking trail for outdoor enthusiasts.

Operating Hours:

• Gate Hours: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Gates are locked at 10:00 PM; vehicle admittance is not permitted after this time.

Policies:

• Camping Units: A maximum of two camping units per site is allowed, with only one being a wheeled unit.
• Occupancy: Up to 10 people are permitted per site overnight.
• Vehicle Restrictions: Vehicles must remain on paved surfaces at all times.
• Waste Disposal: Dumping of gray and black water is permitted only at the designated dump station.
