This has now become our favorite camp spot. It is a big campground with lots of space between people. This by far is NOT a cookie cutter campground, water and electrical are within your spot but you better bring an extension cord and extra hose. Most of the power outlets are 5 feet up, and sometimes you have to look for it. Only one set of bathrooms and showers in the middle of the park, sewer dump on the way out. Reservations go quick they have a short season, May thru September, due to very high flooding. Cool little store, play area, and right on the water

Gualala River Redwood Park in Gualala California offers 120 sites with water and electric. Large spacing between sites. Open May to October. Sites are situated in a forest of Redwood trees with ample shade and a state park type setting. Paved roads with packed gravel/ dirt pads the park can accommodate most RVs, tent and trailers (not advised for extra large RVs). Campers have access to a playground, picnic area, games and the river. A pretty and secluded setting along CA 1 north of San Francisco.
