We stayed in a riverside site (W11) that backs right up to the Colorado River. It was a full hook-up site. The site had a concrete pad with a permanent gazebo and a fire pit. There was a gas 4-burner grill and a table and chairs under the gazebo, and two Adirondack chairs by the fire pit. The store doesn't have much, but there is a gas station across from the entrance that you can easily walk to as well. The pool looked nice although we didn't use it. The big plus for us was a nice fenced-in dog park, so we could take the dogs and let them run and play for a bit. There were multiple restrooms and laundry facilities. The staff, which most are camper staff I believe, were very friendly and helpful. There is a steak restaurant, Miner's Claim, close by that will pick you up in a 6-person golf cart and deliver you to and from the restaurant if you want a nice dinner out one night. On the downside, the Wifi was horrible. My site had the Wifi antenna next to it, so you couldn't be any closer. The signal to the antenna was good, but the Wifi service speed was terribly slow. First thing in the morning when it's not being slammed by everyone, tested at 1.9 Mbps DL and 11.9 Mbps upload. I know it's camping, but I needed to do some work and we like to stream a movie at night. We relied on hot-spotting our phones for that. I couldn't even post this review using the Wifi and had to use my phone. I saw other reviews saying the cable wasn't working; however, while not great, it did work for us with just standard definition channels though. Also, we were warned that the potable water pressure was around 80 psi, so be sure you have a water pressure regulator! We camped at Glenwood Springs West / Colorado River KOA Holiday in a Motorhome.

We made a last minute reservation to stay here and were unsure of what to expect. What a great surprise to find the park was clean, spaces were wide for our 5th wheel and views along the river were great. This is a park would would visit again.
