📖 About This Campground
Glenwood Canyon Resort in Glenwood Springs Colorado provides full hookup RV and tent camping adjacent to the river east of town. River front sites are partial and primitive (no water, electric, or sewer) hookup while full hookups are setup on the hillside. Resort is home to a climbing wall, zipline, and river rafting outfitter during summer months. Exit at No-Name from I-70.

After reading mixed reviews online we decided to stay here anyways. It is early spring "off-season" so the full hookup rate was $39 per night. The place was pretty much empty and very relaxing. The full hookup sites are up in a gravel lot and all are back ins. The only issue for some is that the sewer drain is at the very front of the site while electric is in the very back; no big deal for us but could be for others. The train tracks are across the river and would probably be annoying for the tent and partial hookup campers down by the water but was not bothersome to us; we found it to be very cool. This place is all about the location with the Glenwood Canyon Bike Path passing just outside; easily one of the best paved bike paths in the country with amazing views and a fun out (uphill) and back (downhill) ride along the river. Verizon 4G worked with an amp 3G was steady. We will return. Peak rate is $60 per night. Only complaint = enforce the speed limit; too many folks racing thru.
