📖 About This Campground
Clear Lake State Park Campground in Clear Lake Iowa provides full, partial and primitive (no water, electric, or sewer) hookup RV and tent camping sites near the shores of a recreational lake. Popular with locals the large lake has a swim beach, fishing points, boat launch and scenic views. The campground roads are paved while the parking pads are packed gravel. Plenty of mosed grass, picnic tables and fire rings round out the campsites. A restroom with showers is available. Also a dump station is available.
Families enjoy playing in the open areas, hiking the small trails, swimming in the waters and playing at the playgrounds. Advanced reservations are encouraged but the park does maintain about 25% of the sites as first come first served.
