Overall I have to say this is one of the nicer parks in California. It is located in a pretty area with access to both the central valley, a National Park (Pinnacles) and the Monterey Bay area. Verzion 4G is solid and fast here. The campground itself is not the greatest... just a big paved lot but still no dust and easy for the kids to play with their bikes. We stayed a week including two weekends; during the week the places was empty except for the long termers in the back. On weekends the place was 70% full with people relaxing and enjoying a weekend. We found the restuarant, stores, train ride and carousel to all be worth their respective prices. Fuel on site is cheapest around for 20 miles and they have propane fill at the station too. The rates are a bit steep $50 for 50 amp and $42 for 30 amp. The 50 amp sites are tucked back by the playground and train track making them worth the additional fee. We would stay here again in the future.
