About Upper Stony Creek Campground
Upper Stony Creek Campground near Three Rivers California is a US Forest Service campground offering 23 primitive tent and RV camping sites located between the main areas of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The smaller option is immediately across the road from Stony Creek and is better suited to small RVs and tent camping. Dirt roads and site pads this campground is not as "nice" as the one across the street (Stony Creek).
Advanced reservations are allowed, and encouraged, at this very popular destination. Less expensive than its neighbor Upper Stony Creek Campground does not have water spigots or water in the restrooms (vault toilets).
Each site has a picnic table, fire ring and bear box. Operated by concessionaire Upper Stony Creek Campground is a great choice in the area. Public phone, public showers, groceries, restaurant, and gasoline are available 1/2 mile away at the Stony Creek Resort.
