South Carlsbad State Beach Campground in Carlsbad California offers tent and RV campers a unique place to spend a couple nights adjacent to the Pacific Ocean. Situated on a bluff-top with stairs leading to the beach the small campground offers full and primitive hookup camping for RVs and tents. RVs are limited to 35' in length. Restrooms with running water are available. Sites are on dirt with pull aside and backin options available. A popular destination reservations are recommended. The beautiful beach is the main draw with sunning, surfing and playing in the sand a few steps from camp. On the inland side of the park is PCH = a constants stream of traffic. The state park recently repaved and realigned the roads making navigation easier.
