Rocky Arbor State Park Campground in Wisconsin Dells Wisconsin offers partial and primitive (no water, electric, or sewer) hookup RV and tent camping within 1.5 miles of Wisconsin Dells. Wooded campsites, hiking trails and picnic and playground areas in a setting surrounded by pine trees and sandstone bluffs. The park is sandwiched between US 12 and the Interstate but seems to be worlds away from civilization. Campers enter the park and drive between cliffs of stone as they climb up to the camping areas. Set on one way paved loop roads the sites are all backins/ pull ins on packed dirt. Under large shade trees it stays cooler in here than spots out in the sun. Water spigots and restrooms are available the park can accommodate tents and small RVs. Reasonably priced the campground is a suitable public option near the tourist destination of the Wisconsin Dells.
