Observer Ranch — Virtual Tour

Observer Ranch, located in Penrose, Colorado, is an educational campground and learning center that combines outdoor experiences with educational opportunities. Surrounded by mountain views and traversed by Eightmile Creek, the ranch fosters a community centered on knowledge sharing, sustainability, and nature appreciation.   Accommodations:

• RV Sites: The ranch offers level RV sites equipped with 20/30/50 amp service and full hookups. Each site includes outdoor POLYWOOD® furniture and a fire pit with a cooking grate, situated on approximately 1/10th acre.
• Planet Camper Rentals: Themed trailers, such as Earth and Mars, are available for rent, providing a unique lodging experience.
• Moon Pod Rental: A compact accommodation option featuring a pull-out full bed and a small bathroom/pantry area.

Amenities:

• Learning Center: Equipped with a 120-inch projector and a spacious wrap-around deck, the center hosts classes, events, and hands-on learning sessions tailored to various learning styles.
• Little Spark Library: Housing over 350 books on topics such as Earth and space science, nature, outdoors, gardening, homesteading, and permaculture, the library promotes literacy and a passion for learning.
  Recreational Facilities: Guests can enjoy outdoor games, morning tea/coffee sessions, yoga, tai chi, group hikes, and access to Eightmile Creek for nature exploration.

Educational Opportunities: Observer Ranch emphasizes skill development and open-mindedness through expert-led workshops covering topics like fire-building, foraging, and sustainable living practices.
