Lewis and Clark State Recreation Area, located in northeastern Nebraska near Crofton, encompasses 864 acres along the southern shore of Lewis and Clark Lake, the state's second-largest reservoir. • Trails: The South Shore Area features 4.5 miles of trails suitable for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and horseback riding.
