Jumbo Rocks Campground in Joshua Tree National Park California offers 124 primitive tent and RV sites at elevation 4,400ft. Popular for the namesake jumbo rocks that you camp in and around. Spend hours bouldering and exploring the ethereal landscape from camp. Sites can accommodate most size RVs but the roads are a bit narrow and you would be hard pressed to fit anything larger than 35' into the camping area. This campground tends to fill up fast and is best suited to RVs of all types. The tent areas tend to be a little close to one another. Pit toilets with no water available. Be prepared upon arrival. Paved roads and parking pads the campground does have some elevation changes between various areas.
