Fort Clinch State Park Atlantic Beach Campground — Virtual Tour
About Fort Clinch State Park Atlantic Beach Campground
Fort Clinch State Park Atlantic Beach Campground in Fernandina Beach Florida is one of the most well-preserved 19th century forts in the country. Although no battles were fought here, it was garrisoned during both the Civil and Spanish-American wars. 61 campsites in two separate and unique campgrounds. Across the north tip of the park, just steps from the ocean, the 21 sites at the Atlantic Beach Campground are typical of the Florida beach atmosphere surrounded by snow white sand dunes and sunny sites. 6 primitive tent only sites are also available. This campground is accessible for most any size RV; note that the access road does pass through a canopy of trees with a few low overhangs... use caution.
