Chatfield State Park Campground near Littleton Colorado offers full, partial and primitive hookup RV and tent camping adjacent to a recreational lake. A short drive from civilization with ample outdoor activities including boating, fishing, biking, and hiking. One hundred twenty sites classified as full hook-up (water, sewer, & electricity provided) located in A, B and D Loops. The remaining 77 sites in Loop B and Loop C have electricity only. Thirty four sites in Loops B and C have detached tent pads. Twelve campsites are accessible to people with disabilities. The Deer Creek Entrance has a height limitation of 13'0". Camping units taller than this should use the park’s Plum Creek Entrance. Chatfield State Park Campground is south of the urban center of Denver and due to its abundant trails and recreational opportunities is a very popular place for locals to stay. During the peak seasons the campground is often full and reservations are recommended. If you are staying outside the peak seasons it may be worth taking a shot at first come first served since the state park charges a hefty $10 reservation fee. The lake is popular with boaters, notably sail boats, and the area is very popular with cyclists. Paved roads and site pads with picnic tables and fire rings at each site. Large RVs can fit into this park.
