📖 About This Campground
Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp Resort Wisconsin Dells in Baraboo Wisconsin offers full hookup RV and tent camping in a family friendly environment. The first thing to mention about this park is the most obvious thing to mention and that is the location. This park is set immediately adjacent to interstate 90/ 94. Not the fault of the park nevertheless there is a persistent sound of Highway noise throughout the entire location all of the time. If you are unlucky enough to be in tent sites near to the interstate the drone is almost overwhelming. That being said the campground is beautifully landscaped, well maintained and really a perfect destination for a family friendly vacation.
The park has a small waterpark, a splash pad, clubhouse, family activities and access to the lake down a steep hill were guests can rent kayaks and enjoy the water. There is a stocked store and restaurants on site. This Jellystone location is built along a mountainside so there is plenty of elevation within the park. While there are sites that can fit larger RVs generally speaking it you are best served to be under 40 feet. The park is better targeted at tent and small RV campers.
When staying here the park is very popular on weekends during the summer with campers looking to camp in tents or pop up campers. In addition the park has rental cabins, yurts and pre-setup tents for rent. Overall a very nice location if you can get past and ignore the highway noise. For tent campers your best camping sites are actually near the boat launch area a small little tent area that's tucked into the trees very pretty. Next best is the camping area out in the middle of the property and then the absolute worst is the camping area on the south side of the property (Ishnala Campground); this area slopes toward the highway and is very loud. Due to its popularity the park strictly controls flow of people in with an entrance gate and wristbands required on all patrons.
The park is close to the outlets, restaurants and visitor friendly services.
