📖 About This Campground

Washington Park Campground in Anacortes Washington is a city managed park offering 73 campsites, 46 have water and electrical hook-ups. A dump station is located near the park exit. The campsites are all tucked in to a heavily forested setting. Dirt roads and parking pads the campground is open year round. Bathrooms are dispersed throughout. Washington Park is popular with boaters and people looking to enjoy the magnificent views of the San Juan Islands. A 2 mile paved road winds through the park perfect for walking or biking. Advanced reservations are accepted and recommended. While the sites are reasonably large the park is best suited to RVs 35' or less in length due to the forested setting. Larger RVs are advised to pick sites in Loop A. Loop B and C are a bit tighter. There is a group tenting area available for large groups with advanced reservations; no RVs allowed in that area. A boat launch is available along with park amenities like playgrounds and picnic areas.

Legacy Reviews

Not for large rigs this park worked perfect with our pop-up. Very woodsy setting with narrow roadways and rustic sites. We had water and electric hookups. Great spot to explore the San Juan Islands from and we love that Anacortes is a real working town and not some tourist trap.
