Trails End RV Park

$30 per night for 50 amp full hookups on new gravel pads with nice large concrete patios. The park is well kept with active and friendly onsite camp hosts and friendly long term tenants. When you first drive up the park seems kind of off-putting as it is located off alone behind the railroad tracks. Once inside everything changes the park is clean and tidy. There are a number of long term guests but nothing scary. Verizon 4G and phone worked great. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Maybe heard 5 small planes in total during our 1 week stay (note we were told that the worst time is when fires are in the area because the helicopters use the airport... we thought that was neat). Now about Tehachapi... it is a rail town and has a huge volume of rail traffic. There is a crossing a short distance away so they do blow their horns. We enjoyed it, you might not. We enjoyed walking down main street to the old depot and seeing the historic train artifacts... you may not. We also enjoyed the two lovely toy stores in town and the nice small town feel of the area... you should. Our tip of the week is to absolutely drive the 20 minutes to see the Tehachapi Loop... for rail buffs this is a pilgrimage location and was very cool to see a long train drive OVER itself! Overall we enjoyed our stay and will absolutely be back to this nice RV park in Tehachapi.
