Texarkana KOA

Flat out this place gives KOA's a bad name. The park is literally immediately adjacent to the interstate and the on ramp to the interstate. Fact in order to access the park you need to head down the frontage road / on-ramp and then turn right just when you feel like you've gone too far. The park looks like a converted mobile home community and still has a mobile home community in the back. There is a small pool and small office. The grounds are nice but have an overall aged appearance. The advantage of this KOA is its proximity to restaurants shopping and the interstate. Do note that there are no sidewalks so you will need to drive everywhere and based upon its location you could only pull out and go right down the Frontage Road to find a spot to loop back around to the dining and restaurants. The park is also not big rig friendly for an overnight stay. Because of the access location and overall size of Park it is best suited to units under 35 feet for overnight stays. If you are staying longer then it is worth the effort. There are better options in this area.
