The Park is perfectly situated for easy travel from any direction in Idaho, plus we’re only 24 miles north of the whitewater capital – Riggins, Idaho. The Park is just 17 miles to the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area. The neat thing is if you have an ATV or side-by-side, you can enjoy the drive into Hells Canyon and the Snake River by just hopping on your rig in the Park and scooting out the campground driveway. Swiftwater is an easy halfway point in the state for those traveling from either the north or south. (Pssst….we’re great for family reunions and other get-togethers!  It’s just 3.5 hours drive from Boise in the south or Spokane/Coeur d'Alene in the north).
