We visited 8-5-8-12-2023 This campground is beautiful. Grassy sites, full hookup, water front sites beautiful, sites behind waterfront are water view, Staff and everyone is friendly. WIFI is very good. Sun outdoors bought this place and I think they put a couple of site were a sit should not be to make more money. We were on site L45, This site is not recommended. Thank God we didn't have a neighbor otherwise we would have to whisper to have a conversation. There was maybe 3 sites total that were like that. Otherwise any other site was fine. The cons. The bugs, gnats are absolutely horrible. if you walk through the grass you stir them up. I think when it rains it's worse cause we did have a few days where there it was ok. but at night leave your lights off outside and inside your camper or pull your shades down. We left our awning light on for just a couple of hours and our trailer was covered my husband walked into the trailer and I had 10,000 bugs in my camper. I vacuumed the ceiling for 45 min. The net morning they were all dead on my outside rug. Billions of them. Your on a small ocean so it is very breezy day and night. Can't put your awing out, We saw one family loose their awing. The pool is small and they do not tend to it. It needed vacuuming and skimming. I told one of the workers he said he would look into it. If you don't have a boat or rent a boat there is not much to do here, We rented a pontoon for the week. The place is beautiful and I wanted to like it enough to go back to make it worth the drive, but we did not re-book although friends of our did book for next year. So it's up to you if want to deal with the gnats

Stayed June 2014, Had a waterfront site which was nice but not worth $75/night. Did not use the showers. Some of the staff not so friendly, but we would stay again.

Amazing location so-so RV park. They are priced appropriately at $35 per night. Do not pay the $75 per night for the water front sites just not worth it. Facilities show deferred maintenance and have seen better days. The island is very scenic and the area is amazing. Verizon 4G was solid. A tip if you hike or mountain bike head over to Robert Wehle State Park; great trails and amazing views of rugged coastline. We would not return to this park in the future.
