This place is the place you think of when you think of camping! I totally recommend this place, and workers there are more than amazing! The only thing is, by the front desk at night they have no lights, and its pitch black! Bring flashlight or phone!! I totally recommend tubing. You drive up to the dollar tree, and they'll fill your tube there if you want for $1. It could be cold though!! Have a great trip.

We stayed a week at this park pre-season or during "mud season" as the locals call it and we fell in love. We had the place to ourselves and enjoyed the views and park. It would be a bit crowded when full but this park is in a great location. 1/2 mile on the highway gets you over to the paved bike trail along the river. Speaking of the river we took one day to shuttle up and ride the kayaks back down to the take-out by the tent camping areas. We will return. Paid @$40 per night Verizon 4G was solid.
