Great friendly staff, clean sites, Visitor's Center which is very informative. There is a short hiking trail beyond the locks, with quite a few picnic tables as well. Tent, boat sites and RV sites, small campground but very nice and quiet. Enjoyed the boats passing through the locks, beaches are close by as well.

St. Lucie South COE Campground in Stuart Florida south of Port St Lucie offers waterfront RV and tent sites, plus cruiser sites for boat campers. All but a few tent sites have electric and water hookups. A very scenic and peaceful setting along the Okeechobee Waterway at St Lucie Lock. Enjoy sunning as you watch boats and manatees cruising up and down the waterway. Reasonably priced and popular in season.

This is a very popular in season public campground. Three RV sites are directly on the water and rest are in easy view. There is a resident gator in the water. This is by far one of the cleanest locations we have ever stayed and the price can not be beat.
