Snowflower is a mixed campground, 3 sections are Snowflower Inc, members and the rest are Thousand Trails member spots. We stayed in may and had the place to ourselves during the week. The park is huge with incredible vista points and plenty of hiking opportunities. The lake is full of healthy trout and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking. The campground is run as you might expect any TT camp, just well enough. The 4 stars are due to the location and "nature".

Directions to Snowflower found on most mapping programs send you to Emigrant Gap. DO NOT EXIT FREEWAY AT EMIGRANT GAP - THERE IS NO TURN-AROUND. EXIT YUBA GAP INSTEAD.
