This state part is on beautiful Lake Seminole. The interior roads are paved and the sites gravel. No sewer but there is a dump. Some of the sites, mostly tent sites, were closed because of damage from Hurricane David, but they were working on cleaning up the debris. The puil through sites are long and easy to access. Beautiful ramps down to a gravel platform area with a picnic table and fire ring. Nice big grassy areas. There's a small beach, 3 boat ramps, dock rental paddleboards, kayaks and canoes. Mini-golf, hiking areas, playground, group shelters, one for 200 people, laundry, very small library, just a box really. 14 rental cottages, all on the lake. It was windy and cold when we were there, the week before Thanksgiving, so no one was in the water, just some small boats, but in the summer it's a camper's paradise. The closest town is 12 miles away but it's great for a getaway.
