📖 About This Campground

Seal Rock Campground near Brinnon Washington is a US Forest Service campground (Olympic National Park) providing a unique and scenic spot to camp in a RV or tent. Located right on Hood Canal the campground is one of the few national forest campgrounds located on salt water with harvestable oysters for public use. Two paved loop roads are terraced into the hillside and become progressively more accessible for larger RVs the closer you get to the water; the sites along the water can accommodate most any size RV (but getting to those sites preclude most larger RVs due to steep grades and turns). Water is available at spigots located throughout. Restrooms with running water. A day use parking area is also located within the grounds. Picnic tables and fire rings at each site. Overall the campground is not well maintained but a suitable spot to camp. First come first served the campground is open seasonally. Even though the campground is next to US 101 it is lower in elevation so very little road noise permeates the campsites.
