The campground is fairly new from the ground up. Sites in "A" loop are for RV units under 25'. the site there are on level ground so all the sites in that loop are level. "Electric in this loop except for the "tent" only sites. B" loop up to 45'. RV's in mostly huge pull-thru sites. This loop is built on a slight hillside. So the sites are level or close to it. Sites in "B" have electric and water at each site. There are 4 brand new restrooms. On each restroom outer wall is a WiFi repeater, so about half the campground has decent Wi-Fi. There is a new gravel bike trail running thru the campground and around the whole Schoodic peninsula. The free shuttle bus picks you up at the check in station. It takes you around the whole peninsula. Place to eat the Pickled Wrinkle. Eat there 3 times over our week stay. ** there are no showers in this park. Yes, there is a dump station. Is the nicest National park campground we have ever stayed at. Go here if you want to relax after a busy week on the main Acadia / Bar Harbor area.

Actually, the sites in loop A with electric have 20/30/50 amp service. No water though. But nice dump station in loop B. Nice bathrooms, but no showers in the campground at all. It’s a wonderful campground.

Holy national park batman this place rocked! Thank you Campground Views for the great pictures, video and description. Could not find much online and relied upon you and wow what a place. We flew up to New Hampshire and rented a small camper from Cruise America. Spent 4 days at this campground and found our new happy place. Absolutely perfect campground, if only they had sewer connections. Great ranger led programs, amazing hiking and the ocean is incredible. Had the time of our lives what a place. A little pricey but $40 per night for this is well worth it. Nice little coffee shop in Winter Harbor too! Again thank you for your work. We love you for showing us places like this!!
