I was very impressed with this park. Their online availability calendar made it very easy for us to see if they had a site available, they did. The site easily handled our large RV and had plenty of room for slides. The large RV sites have the most space between RVs with the smaller sites seemingly a bit more crowded on elbow room. We had site 4 which had visibility of the 101 and faced the sound-wall. While there was a constant noise and "vrooms" from louder vehicles overall it was not as bad as it could have been being this close to the highway. We paid $70 per night. Verizon 4G was solid and fast. The office staff were very pleasant and legitimately helpful when getting in to the site. While we generally don't like paying this much for an RV site, and this park anywhere else is not worth the price, we were satisfied with our stay.

📖 About This Campground
Santa Barbara Sunrise RV Park in Santa Barbara California is located off US 101 between Santa Barbara and Montecito. Full hookup RV sites behind the sound wall adjacent to US 101. Rates are what you would expect given the price of real estate in the area. If you look at Google Maps you will see that the Santa Barbara Zoo is right across the 101. You can walk or bike to beaches and the zoo (about 1.25 miles) A city bus stop is 2 blocks away, and the #2 bus takes your directly to downtown Santa Barbara The park is right next to the freeway so there is traffic noise, and that's just a fact.
Roads are paved while the sites are packed gravel. Options include pull thru and back-in options capable of handling both small and large RVs. Due to the lack of competition and tourist nature of the community the park is regularly full and reservations are highly recommended. The park maintains a useful chart of availability by site (including the length of RV that can fit in the site) making it easy to check availability. For owners with large RVs, in fact all arriving guests, should call for specific entrance instructions as the park does have 3 driveway entrances. Hookups are mostly located at the back of sites for back-ins and central/ back on pull-throughs.
Santa Barbara Sunrise RV Park is 1 mile from "Coast Village" a ritzy shopping district connected to the exclusive enclave of Montecito. Santa Barbara Sunrise RV Park is a short drive from the main drag (State Street) Santa Barbara and area beaches. A city bus stop is just 2 blocks from the park, and the #2 bus goes directly to downtown Santa Barbara.
The park is nicely maintained and surprisingly, given the small real estate footprint, accessible for RVs. Sites have picnic tables but no fires rings (fires are not allowed). There is a small restroom and shower facility with four private shower/toilets, and an adjacent small laundry. Located within a residential community the surrounding neighborhood is safe and does have sidewalks for walks.
Northbound drivers take exit 95 from US 101 and immediately turn left in to the property (do not pass it because turning around is pain). Southbound 101 drivers use exit 94B which is on the left side (from the "fast-lane") of the freeway make a left back on to northbound 101 and follow the earlier directions.

Already referring your website to everyone I know. I wish I would have found you sooner. We took a trip up to Santa Barbara and based upon some reviews we found and the location of this campground we thought it would be perfect for us. Instead we were crammed into to this run down place a stones throw away from the 101. Your video shows it exactly how it is. We were not expecting this and were disappointed. If you know what you are getting into and expect to just sleep eat and be out on the town then it works. We were looking to camp and hang out so it did not for us. Paid over $55 per night.
