Sandy Shores Campground

Sandy Shores Campground in Mears Michigan offers full hookup RV and tent camping near the shores of Silver Lake and immediately across the street from the state park. Popular for its convenient location right in town and across the street from the public beach, boat launch and playground. Paved roads in front with packed gravel roads in back all of the sites are packed gravel and set under large shade trees (with a high canopy that avoids worries of branches scraping). A mix of seasonal sites, primarily in the rear, and shorter term RV and tent sites in front. The gated park has a pool, playground and small store onsite. In addition the community market is right next door. A suitable location for a stay in the area. Note: navigating to this area can be tricky for GPS units so contact the park for specific driving instructions if this is your first time to the area.
