San Jacinto Riverfront RV Park

This is a really nice campground just outside of Houston on Interstate 10, about 15 miles from Houston's city center in a city called Highlands, Texas. It has just about all the amenities one would expect from a resort style RV resort. My site was a deluxe premium site and included a private hot tub and a view of the San Jacinto river. other amenities included * two fishing piers * large two story cottages as well as smaller cottages * Large clubhouse with an infinity pool and hot tub * Private showers and bathrooms * Large Laundry room Cons: The only cons I had with this place is it's a tad on the larger size and if you have a site near the river, you will find that the workout room, laundry, store and dumpsters are quite a hike away up to the front of the park. Also trash is not picked up at your site as in some resorts so if you plan on staying by the river, you will have to walk or drive to the dumpsters for your trash removal.
