📖 About This Campground

Salamonie Lake Campground in Andrews Indiana offers 246 modern sites that have electrical boxes only (339 total sites). No sewer hookup or water hookup. The park has water spigots located throughout the park and a dump station. Partial and primitive (no water, electric, or sewer) hookup RV and tent camping near the shores of a recreational lake. The park provides access to a beach, fishing, hunting, hiking and biking trails, horseback riding trails, backpack camping sites, carry in/carry out; shelter houses, multiple boat ramps, and a Nature Center with programs for all ages, outdoor enclosure with birds of prey. We also have a Marina on site. Reservoir water levels are maintained by the US Army Corp of Engineers. The State of Indiana leases the ground for recreation purposes. Camping, hiking, biking, boating, swimming, fishing, hunting, relaxing, enjoying the outdoors; Nature Center has programs for young and old, souvenir store, plus, they have an outdoor enclosure with birds of prey for teaching purposes. Pirates Cove Marina is located in main part of park. Several boat launches located in the park area, and around the reservoir/lake. Campsites are spread out in multiple areas throughout the wooded recreational area.
